Atelier Leon is een participatief dansatelier voor kinderen, jongeren en volwassenen. Los van bestaande rolpatronen nodigt Leon je uit om jezelf te tonen via dans en beweging. Danservaring is niet vereist en ook inschrijven is niet nodig. Kom gewoon meedoen.

Elke zaterdag van 10:00 > 12:00 in Maison des Cultures 1080 Sint-Jans-Molenbeek.

Elke woensdag van 16:00 > 18:00 in de Pianofabriek 1060 Sint-Gillis

Leon n'est pas seulement là pour le temps libre. Les ateliers de danse peuvent également être suivis durant les heures de cours. En collaboration avec les enseignant·es, Leon travaille sur des objectifs de développement tels que les compétences socio-émotionnelles, la citoyenneté et les compétences linguistiques.

Leon deliberately wants to leave room for new needs and desires. Under the umbrella 'White Page', Leon is always looking for new relationships and connections, for sharing stories and experiences based on equality. Together, we can enhance social cohesion in our society.

Eén keer per maand komen we samen in onze nieuwe locatie, Lion City. Bij Leon denken we graag buiten de hokjes en kaders. Naast het bespreken van praktische afspraken en to-do’s is er ruimte om naar elkaar te luisteren en van elkaar te leren. Op die manier wordt iedereen mede-eigenaar van wat er ontstaat.

Lot’s of organisations see Leon as a suitable partner for an artistic intervention. Although the long and slow processes are the focus, Leon believes it is essential to also do small presentations at the right time and in the right context. The form of these interventions can either vary between open rehearsals, a try-out or already more finished mini-performances.
